THE FOUNDER
Sylvain Massa
Sylvian Massa founded his first vineyard in 1979 based on a desire to produce the wines of Provence of exceptional quality. He chose the vineyards at the Font du Broc, in the heart of the Var, close to the village of Les Arcs sur Argens, to begin this adventure.
Since the first vintage was produced in 1994, the Font du Broc winery has developed a reputation for producing one of the best red wines in the region. The Estate also produces white and Rose wines which have won several times many awards in international competitions.

Sylvain Massa

According to Sylvain Massa, wines are “the expression of their terroir”. Therefore each wine, is the result of careful management of the land’s natural resources, coupled with the use of modern technology and traditional wine-making methods.
Sylvain’s charisma and generosity are passed on to his team, as is his passion for wine and “terroir”, his innovative spirit, and his desire to enhance programs that break down barriers and develop new perspectives in the industry as a whole.
